“Great place”

We had the best experience at No 10. Highly recommend staying here. The rooms are beautiful and you have everything you need, including spare toothbrushes shower caps ear plugs slippers bath robes/dressing gowns. Our 2nd visit & will definitely stay again next year.

“Good overall but shame it’s getting shabby”

We stay here regularly a few times a year and have always enjoyed it but now notice that a few maintenance issues are spoiling our stays. We stay here regularly a few times a year and have always enjoyed it but now notice that a few maintenance issues are spoiling our stays. The toilet cisterns are continually filling and dripping, the shower heads are clogged with limescale and need replacing. The shower water always floods the floor and the grouting needs a refresh. We reported that the toilet wasn’t flushing and the heating wasn’t working over Christmas and were quickly offered a new room which was better. It’s a shame that the lack of maintenance is now becoming obvious. The staff are always helpful and the cleaning is done to a high standard.

“Excellent location, accommodation in need of a re-fresh but spacious rooms.”

This is our third year staying at 10 The Abbey. We like the style of the rooms, the mini-kitchen and self-check-in. The decor is getting a little faded now, the bathroom needed freshening up - the grouting, shower tray. Our central heating was not working and we had an electric radiator in the bedr… Più

This is our third year staying at 10 The Abbey. We like the style of the rooms, the mini-kitchen and self-check-in. The decor is getting a little faded now, the bathroom needed freshening up - the grouting, shower tray. Our central heating was not working and we had an electric radiator in the bedroom but unfortunately the heated rail in the bathroom was therefore not working - bit chilly first thing. The metal window frames are needing painting and the single glazing is also a bit chilly. The old building looks out over fields and the abbey, it is just off the main street - great location.
