I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel considering the rate that I paid. The staff are amazingly friendly and nothing you ask is too much. I specifically recalled the one morning I called for an Uber and the manageress went out of her way to guide the Uber driver in the right direction. She even went outside in the cold to guide him. This is going the extra mile. The hotel itself is quaint and set in a lovely area in Kingston. Connection to all the surrounding amenities is very easy and so practical. The food was good and the quantity very generous as well. One experiences an authentic British Breakfast when you here and please ensure you go hungry. True value for money.

Well located near Kingston, with plenty of parking which is a great highlight. Reception was really good and a friendly welcome. The room was a bit tatty, noisy plumbing. Well located near Kingston, with plenty of parking which is a great highlight. Reception was really good and a friendly welcome. The room was a bit tatty, noisy plumbing. The bathroom was the bit thats needs fixing most. Its just in need of renovation as the plumbing didnt work well and was noisy when other rooms used water. Breakfast was poor, the fresh fruit was going brown. the cooked breakfast wasn't cold, but tepid really. Certainly a long way from hot! Good value for money in this location but elements were poor

“Perfectly okay hotel”

We stayed the night at the Antoinette when in the area for friend’s 50th birthday. There was a warm welcome at check-in and we were given our key card and directions to the room. The room was behind the main building in the garden block apparently, so we followed directions to what looked like a converted row of flats and climbed to stairs to the second floor (no lifts – or not that I found), then walked down a long corridor (which seemed to narrow Alice in wonderland style, the further we walked down it. Our room (310) was at the end of this corridor, and was, how can I put it, “compact and bijou”! The en-suite was a little larger than a cupboard but with the exception of the multitude of nasty stains on the carpet, the room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The bed was fairly comfortable, they’d supplied a desk fan which helped keep the room cooler overnight too. We didn’t use the bar or have food in the evening (as were out elsewhere) but the buffet breakfast the next morning was tasty and went down well – plenty of choice and the sausages in particular were very tasty. In summary, friendly staff, clean, comfortable but tiny room and a good breakfast. Cheap and cheerful and we needed a room in Kingston again, we wouldn’t have an issue with staying here again. Oh and the carpark is huge for a hotel in this area too.
